Maybe Weasel was leading Chad and Nandor at the session, I was on the other side of the room. I think Weasel was the most enthusiastic person at the session.

I think there were two MOB shows but I only played at the 11/25/94 one. I don’t remember Chad or Nandor there, maybe Nandor was at the other one, or maybe I’m wrong. I remember you, me, Weasel, Matt Smith, Jeb Bishop, and Q. Aaron and Justin were there but there was some weirdness happening (I half-remember a story) forcing one and/or the other to leave early, and I don’t remember if it was before or after MMMM played.

I don’t actually remember the exact date of the show, I’m assuming Weasel is correct. I believe it was the day after Thanksgiving.

Matt, you’re right, I’m sorry. You guys were there in the beginning, working on arrangements. I think I remembered Weasel coming from Chicago and bringing a team of horn players that he commanded. I had forgotten about you working out some of the arrangements in the beginning.

I had forgotten about Kyle Bruckmann from Lozenge playing oboe that time. So, are you saying the MOB info is incorrect? I’m just going by what Weasel sent me…I can’t remember…it was dark. I DO remember, right before walking in to start the show, Nandor asking me, “What’s your talent?” Pardon me?, I asked. “What’s your talent. What do you do?” Weren’t there TWO shows at Milk of Burgundy? I remember the one posted above being good and then the last one not being so good. Help me out here with some info, guys. Matt, no slight intended earlier, just hard to piece a whirlwind back together, 17 years later.

After spending several hours with you and Jeff working out many of your song ideas a week ahead of the recording session, it’s rather disappointing to see you credit Weasel with arranging all the horns. I thought it was more of a group endeavor following your lead at the session.

I and Matt Smith were both at the 11/25/94 MOB performance. I don’t remember Chad or Nandor being there.

You brought in some guy to play oboe at one of the shows at Rick’s, I have no idea who he was.

I had to pull “Old Man” at Aquarius, cuz the transfer looked so bad. The VHS looks better. Something must’ve become lost in the transfer. I’ll try to re-do this one at some point.
